Pastor on the Porch

Pastor on the Porch.jpg

The Rev. Dr. Tim TenClay is a husband, father, pastor, baker, knitter, bicycle-r, labyrinth facilitator, and all-around love-to-learn-new-things-er.

He received his BA from Central College (Pella, IA) in Religion and Music, his M.Div. from Western Theological Seminary (Holland, MI), and his D.Min. from Northern Seminary (Lombard, IL) in Spirituality and Worship.  He has served congregations in SW Michigan, Western New York, Southern Italy, and is currently the pastor of the Community Reformed Church, Manhasset.

Pastor Tim is particularly concerned with the relationship between physical, mental, and spiritual health (believing that all three are intimately related) and takes seriously the biblical promise that "neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 8:38-39)

He is looking forward to being the "Pastor on the Porch" this summer, and invites anyone who is interested to join him for informal conversation.

"Your Questions.  Your Thoughts.  Your Time."

Stop by between 9am and 5 pm
May 19, June 16, July 21, and/or August 18.

Pastor Tim will also have his 23' canvas labyrinth set up in the rotunda of the church building for anyone interested in walking the labyrinth or discussing the use of labyrinths as tool for spiritual and inner growth.
